THERE IS / THERE ARE (Hay)

THERE IS + SINGULAR NOUN OR UNCOUNTABLE

EXAMPLES: There is an Apple on the table.

There isn’t any milk in the fridge.

THERE ARE + PLURAL NOUN

EXAMPLES: There are some apples on the table.

There aren’t any cars in the town.
