algo (de).…incontables/algunos-as…contables

SOME : is used for countable and uncountable nouns.

In positive clauses.

Example:

I buy some bread.

I buy some apples.

*There are some exceptions which will be reviewed after some lessons.

ANY : is used for countable and uncountable nouns.

In negative AND interrogatives clauses

Example:

I don’t buy any bread.

I don’t buy any apples.

Did you buy any milk?
